ClipCrypt is a convenient text encryption tool that utilises the clipboard to encrypt/decrypt text. This makes encrypting/decrypting text a simple process of copying text from within any text editing program. It is able to handle unicode text so can be used easily with none Western formats.

It is fast and simple to use and employs secure encryption ciphers. The keyphrase is not passed with the encrypted text making it secure but ClipCrypt is required to decrypt.

ClipCrypt can use RC4, Blowfish, Rijndael, Twofish and TEA ciphers.

Clipcrypt uses 4 global hotkeys.  The main hotkey is set when the program starts and the others when the main hotkey is pressed.  There is a variable active time limit set when the secondary hotkeys are activated.  This is to ensure the clipboard reverts to normal operation either after you use one of the secondary hotkeys or at the time limit.

Using ClipCrypt is easy and efficient. 

An example simple procedure for processing text is:

Activate the encryption engine using the main hotkey or the popupmenu
CTRL+A - select all text (or select section of text manually)
CTRL+C - copy selected text to clipboard (clipboard text is automatically processed)
then
CTRL+V - paste processed text to replace copied text
or
Editor hotkey- open your selected editor with processed text (default CTRL+N)
or
EMail hotkey - send processed text as email (default CTRL+E)
or
EFile hotkey- send processed text as a file attachment (default CTRL+F)
or
Save hotkey- Save processed text to a file. (default CTRL+S);
